Puri can actually visit Raghurajpu village. Raghurajpur is a village near Puri. This is a village of artists. Every family in the village draws Patachitras from generation to generation. Sometimes the story of life unfolds in the betel nut shell, sometimes in cloth. Raghurajpur village is 11 km away from Puri. You can visit from there within three hours by renting an auto. From Puri you can visit another artist village of this state. Pipli Odisha’s famous appliqué work is done here. From umbrellas to bags to clothes, you can come to the village to see appliqué artwork. Pipli village is about 40 km from Puri. You can explore here by renting a car. You can buy a variety of applique handicrafts.
