By-polls in khardah, Gosaba, Shantipur and Dinhata on October 30

Kharadha, Gosaba,Shantipur and Dinhata By-election 30 October. Results 2 November. The commission announced Tuesday.
The Election Commission on tuesday decided to hold 4 by-election. The four by-elections are respectively in khardah in North 24 Parganas, Gosaba in South 24 Parganas, Shantipur in Nadia and Dinhata in Cooch Behar. The last date for submission of nominations in these four centers is October 8. The last day for scrutiny of nominations is October 11. The last day to withdraw the nomination is October 18. The results of the vote will be announced on November 2.
The commission has also given some guidelines in the election campaign.
