Mamata Banerjee nominated Jahar Sircar as Trinamool candidate in the Rajya Sabha polls

The Trinamool Congress has announced its candidate for the seat vacated by Dinesh Trivedi in the Rajya Sabha. Today, the ruling party of the state has informed that the Jawahar Sarkar is being nominated. He was the CEO of Prasar Bharati.

In a tweet today, the Trinamool said, ‘We are delighted to nominate Mr.Jawhar sircar in the Upper House of the Parliament Mr.Sircar spent nearly 42 years in public service & was also the former CEO of Prasar Bharati. His invaluable contribution to public service shall help us serve out country even better.’
