Sarab Jaishankar on terrorism at SCO forum in Pakistan, China’s economic corridor is also targeted

Islamabad: India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar spoke about the militancy issue from the stage of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). “The major obstacles to trade and communication are terrorism, fundamentalism and separatism,” he said while standing on Pakistani soil on Wednesday.
Jaishankar expressed fear that if those three problems are not dealt with strictly, there will be a negative impact on international trade and diplomatic relations. The foreign minister also criticized Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s comments regarding the expansion of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) at the SCO meeting held at the ‘Jinnah Convention Centre’ in Islamabad. he said “Part of CPEC has passed through Pakistan Occupied Kashmir,”
