Ashis Mishra, son of the Union Minister, was arrested in Lakhimpur case after 12 hours of interrogation. Saturday morning 10:40 minutes he appeared before the officers of the crime branch of the Uttar Pradesh police. Then 12 hours of interrogation. A total of forty questions were asked. According to sources, Ashish has remained silent on most of the questions. He was then arrested around 11 pm. He was produced before a magistrate about an hour later. From there he was taken to jail at around 12.45 pm.
